Review of Crowne Plaza LAX

On the spur of the moment we decided to take a overnight trip,
flying from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, and was pleasantly surprised
at the reasonable rate for this hotel in comparison to others in the area. 
The Complimentary airport shuttle service is excellent and our check in
went very smoothly. I was acknowledged as a Priority Club member and
extended the benefits of a free beverage and late check out.

Our room was very clean, presentable, and conveniently located near
the elevator. We expected to hear airplanes throughout our stay because
of the close proximity to the airport, but it wasn't as bad as we anticipated. 
Purchasing our Ocean Express Trolley tickets at the front desk was quick
and easy. The guest services representative was cordial and gave us
helpful information about the trolley schedule. The breakfast buffet
is a bit pricey so we decided to eat elsewhere since $60 for 3 people
for breakfast was totally out of our budget.  All in all we had a good stay,
will stay again, and highly recommend this hotel to business or leisure travelers.  

Tip: for less noise, request a room on the Century Blvd. side of the hotel

On a side note, the Ocean Express Trolley is a great way to visit the
Manhattan Beach area. I highly recommend Mama D's Italian Restaurant.
Her famous pink sauce is the best!
